I've been thinking a lot recently about first impressions.

Not the first impression guests get when they arrive...

The one they get long before that.

Long before they've spoken to you.

Long before they've booked.

Long before they've even decided whether your place is right for them.

By then, your business has already been telling them a story.

Your pricing tells a story.

Your photographs tell a story.

Your website tells a story.

Your reviews tell a story.

Your minimum stay tells a story.

Even the emails you send - or don't send - are shaping expectations.

On their own, those things might seem like small details.

But together, they create a feeling.

That's why some accommodation businesses feel so easy to book.

Not because they're the cheapest.

Not because they've got the fanciest website.

But because everything feels consistent.

Guests instinctively understand who the business is for.

The owners know exactly who they're trying to attract.

Nothing feels confused.

Everything points in the same direction.

When those messages become mixed, guests hesitate.

When they reinforce one another, the right guests often recognise they've found exactly what they've been looking for.

Not because they've been persuaded.

Because everything already feels right.

So I’m able to comprise a list of places to visit whilst staying at Looby Lodge, please can you comment places you have visited whilst staying at the lodge. Not everyone wants passes and 40% of our guests don’t purchase park passes and visit the surrounding area.

Please can I make guests aware that the Lodge sleeps 6 people over 3 Bedrooms. As previously advertised.
2 x twin rooms (4 single beds)
1 x Master suite with double bed.
The Lodge doesn’t have sofa beds in the lounge and the sofas in the lounge are not suitable for sleeping on all night. The odd Nanny Nap is fine 😜
We purchased the sofas new for this season and I would hate for them to be used for purposes other than what they were purchased for….relaxing.
I sincerely hope this doesn’t effect guests stays 🥰
