Wingcube camper pod mushrooms into double-bedroom platform tent 🍄

The Wingcube is a unique style of trailerable expanding camp pod. It folds up into a tall cube slim enough to tow comfortably aboard a utility trailer, even around the narrowest roadways. After parking, the cube grows to more than three times its packed size, dropping its wings into sheltered bedrooms and sliding out an open-air dining area.

Unfortunately this is just a concept but the designer says he's aiming to get the Wingcube to market for a price around £20,000 by late 2027. We'll definitely aim to take a closer look once the prototype has been prepared.

Impossibly tough inflatable tent stands even stronger in 112-mph wind 🌬️

Believe it or not, the 112-mph (180-km/h) wind capability of the all-new Heimplanet Mavericks Blue Ice inflatable exo-frame tent isn't what separates it from all tents that came before it. The Mavericks tent has been handling that kind of wind for over a decade. But the ultra-rugged expedition-grade inflatable has gotten some burlier fabric, improved drainage, better ventilation and other upgrades to become Heimplanet's self-declared strongest tent ever. At US$6,439 it is a big stack of cash for a tent but it can seriously do the job 💪

LG hits us with a cutting-edge, portable ... caravan!?

The Korean tech giant has created a teardrop camper! The new Bon Voyage is actually a shrunken and refined version of a larger predecessor.

LG are a huge name in the television market, but it's also showing some new alternative product designs from the experimental LG Labs division.

Last year, LG Labs debuted a large, dual-axle duplex tiny home-style towable called the Bon Voyage. It vowed to further research housing trends and discuss the idea of a portable personalized space with the public. The feedback it received inspired it to shrink and simplify the original Bon Voyage to small camping caravan size.

LG describes LG Labs as more of a marketing division, so we don't expect a production Bon Voyage to follow anytime this year or next. But the company is interested in expanding its footprint from home appliances and electronics to comprehensive intelligent experiences and spaces it calls "life solutions," so we won't rule it out completely.

Tiny, pop-out pod camper promises Mitsubishi Delica 4x4 levels of fun!

It's hard to think of a single vehicle that better embodies the bold, free spirit of off-road tiny van life than the Mitsubishi Delica. With its compact mini-camper dimensions, classic single-box shape, and history of sporty 4WD trims, the van has become a cult classic and popular camper base around the globe. But at this year's Japan Mobility Show, the Delica cedes the stage to an even cooler Mitsubishi camping rig, a futuristic concept combo that expands into a multi-room base ⛺

A little capsule that tows smaller than a teardrop and expands at camp to provide a comfortable living space. Mitsubishi imagines it having a multipart expansion system that starts with the glassy slide-out module shown up top and continues with a rear tailgate, lift-up side hatch and slide-out kitchen 🍴

It's just a concept at the moment but hopefully it becomes a reality soon!🤞

'World's 1st' glampervan includes a very polarising feature...🤔

The all-new Robeta Ananya doesn't aspire to be just another camper van but a new category entirely. Pulling inspiration liberally from yachts and triple-axle luxury motorhomes, the "world's first glampervan" is sure to incite a fiery mix of admiration and envy amongst nomadic residents of more common livable vans. We've seen other products slapped with the "glamper van" label (and done some slapping ourselves), but none of them have had the Ananya's combination of limousine-like vehicle split, reimagined layout, and inspirational furnishings and materials.

Robeta plans to debut the Ananya in January 2026 but has already announced a price of €255,000 for each of five Founders Edition models, the first in the new Ananya model series.

Spacecamper becomes one of the first to offer both Volkswagen Multivan and Caravelle camper van models, giving buyers two options for experiencing modern VW vans 🚀

The Caravelle Classic+ prices in at €74,950 with a fixed factory roof and single two-person bed and €80,920 with a pop-up sleeper roof. Both feature VW's a 110-hp 2.0-liter TDI engine and six-speed transmission. Options include engine upgrades, 4Motion all-wheel drive, navigation, a premium driver-assistance package, and a Thule Omnistor awning.
