🏆 Celebrating Success at Elm Park 🏆

We recently brought the team together on site at Elm Park to celebrate a fantastic achievement, with Site Manager Rob Farkins and the Elm Park team winning the 2026 NHBC Pride in the Job award!

To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a well-deserved hog roast, with our site team and trades joining us for lunch for a chance to celebrate together. 🍴

Pride in the Job recognises the dedication, leadership and commitment it takes to deliver homes to the highest standards. This achievement is a testament not only to Rob’s hard work and leadership, but also to the collective efforts of everyone who has contributed to the development.

Congratulations again to Rob and the whole Elm Park team, a fantastic achievement to be proud of! 👏

🚲 The challenge has begun! 🚲

After months of planning, Ben Rowntree, our fourth-generation shareholder, and Strategic Land Manager Michael Newman are officially off on their 100-mile tandem challenge around Dartmoor in support of Children's Hospice South West.

Their route will take them through Okehampton, Bovey Tracey, Ivybridge and Tavistock, all while raising money for a charity that provides vital care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.

We wish Ben and Michael the very best of luck, we’ll be cheering them on every pedal of the way! 💙

🏎️ Charity Go-Karting Day | Racing for a Great Cause 🏎️

What a fantastic day of friendly competition, teamwork and fundraising!

We were delighted to bring together 14 teams from across the industry for our charity go-karting day, raising an incredible £1,400 for Children's Hospice South West. 💚

A huge congratulations to our top three teams:

🥈 Encon Insulation – 2nd place
🥉 Cavanna & Crendon joint team – 3rd place

Thank you to everyone who took part, supported the event and helped make it such a success. Your generosity and competitive spirit helped us raise a fantastic amount for such an amazing charity.

The importance of getting out on site 🏡

At Cavanna, we believe it’s important that everyone across the business has the opportunity to see our developments first hand, whatever their role.

Our Head of Admin Melanie and Receptionist Tina, recently ventured out to Centenary Heights in Wembdon, getting a closer look at the progress being made on site and seeing our new homes taking shape.

For our office based teams, these visits are a great way to see how our developments progress from the plans on paper to the homes we’re proud to deliver.

It’s all part of making sure our teams stay connected to what we do and, most importantly, the homes and communities we’re creating. ✨

Our team came together earlier in the week for a special Macmillan Coffee Morning, bringing in some delicious homemade bakes to share while raising money for an important cause.

Thanks to everyone who baked, donated, enjoyed a slice (or two) and made the morning such a success. Together, we’ve raised just under £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚
