Brilliant news for Blackpool 🎉

A brand new arcade bar, and rooftop garden and kitchen is coming to Abingdon Street, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome it! 🕹️

With the Multiversity bringing 3,000 students into our town centre from 2027, this bold and creative investment is exactly the kind of hub we love to see 👏

Galleon bar founder Stephen Pierre has acquired the former BrightHouse building on Abingdon Street for £200,000 at auction, launching plans for a multi-floor arcade bar, rooftop kitchen, and community art gallery. The site is being engineered to capture the massive shift in town centre demographics when the 3,000-student Multiversity opens.

The Project: Turn a derelict former shop into a multi-floor venue for artists, gamers, and students.

This year’s Blackpool Illuminations event switch-on will be hosted by BBC Radio Lancashire’s breakfast presenter Graham Liver and daytime presenter Sharon Hartley 🎙️
