Although we didn’t take home the overall award at the Scottish Prestige Hotel Awards 2026, we were absolutely delighted to be awarded Highly Recommended by the judges, meaning we came very close to winning.

Although we didn’t take home the award this time, we honestly couldn’t be prouder.

To be named finalists at the Scottish Hotel Prestige Awards after only opening in December is such an incredible achievement for us. We were up against some absolutely stunning venues, so just being recognised alongside them means the world.

A huge congratulations to Portavadie, Loch Fyne, well deserved! 👏

We’ll continue doing what we love: maintaining the highest standards, listening to your feedback, and creating special stays and celebrations at Bankhouse.
