Booking enquiries for May, June, July and the first two weeks of August will close on April 17th.🤗

it seems that apart from lambing and spring calving winter simply hasn’t moved on yet from the Hebrides… that said the grass is definitely a wee bit greener.

Hi all,

With the arrival of spring obviously comes extra work on the croft and on the island…

Better for all that any initial enquiries regarding availability are done via email:

I simply need to know how many adults/children in the party, canine companions, accommodation type and size( pod/tent/van/ electric hook up).

I can then check my diary for availability and give you a Yes/ No answer… and if you wish to book I will hold the pitch for 48hrs while you enquire about ferry availability.

Quite amazing what turns up on the croft…
Our island RSPB chap contacted Lorna a couple of days ago to announce a special visitor on a small seasonal lochan ( Lochan Bhan) just over the fence from the croft…

A single Avocet hanging out with the Oyster Catchers… it is the first time this species has been recorded on Tiree.

It was still hanging out with its buddies today🤗.

Oh the sheer joy of a Starlink connection.

Its Monday and I believe I am up to date with answering any enquiries… If not please drop me an email and I will answer within 24 hrs.

Please note no camping is now available between:

TMF weekend
May 6th > May 11th
July 9th >August 4th

April is nice and quiet… and beautiful September also.

A pod is still available on and off throughout the summer and winter… best call and chat for dates.

To all of our returning friends… the stalwart tipi crew et al… those that know what Lorna and me have been through to get this far … thank you 🙏 for all the magic moments… 🤗 and looking forward to catching up. ( or my personal email)

To those reading that have already arranged to stay on the croft this year…

We look forward to having that moment when stepping off the ferry, breath deep…and leave the madness and the rush behind…
