There’s something rather special about a summer holiday in the Welsh countryside… especially when the sun is shining! ☀️

🌿 Attingham Park ☀️

One of our favourite places to visit is Attingham Park, a beautiful National Trust estate that’s just around an hour’s drive from our holiday cottages.

We got carried away and spent 6 hours exploring the historic mansion, enjoying the woodland walks, and letting the children burn off some energy in the field of play. Finished off with an ice cream before heading back home.

With so many fantastic attractions within easy reach, our cottage is the perfect base for exploring the best of the countryside this summer.

Gardd Bodnant 🌿 / Bodnant Garden 🌼

Couple of day trips over half term and ventured as far as Bodnant Gardens National Trust- about a 1hr50mins drive from here but well worth a visit. Lots of lovely walking routes to choose from (longest was approx. 3 miles) winding through the beautiful gardens. Even managed to see the famous laburnum arch in bloom - completed in 1880!
