Courthill Farm is an organic mixed farm based in Slindon in the South Downs National Park. As well as having beef cattle, sheep, saddleback pigs and arable fields of barley the farm also has two shepherd huts situated in a beautiful wildflower meadow now available to rent.

'Bucket head'.......every year we get the odd ewe that takes a dislike to one of their lambs. There are lots of things we can do to help revive the mother-lamb bond. Sometimes it is a bucket that seems to work best. It sits a bit like a buster collar on a dog and stops the ewe being able to tell which one of her lambs is feeding so allowing them both to drink off her. The ewes are quite comfortable with the bucket on and able to eat and drink easily. After a period of time when we are sure the mother-lamb love has returned we will remove the bucket!

Beautiful sunflowers again this year. So worth a visit to see these gorgeous sunny flowers.

Wow! What a first 10 days of the 2025 season it’s been! Thank you to everyone that has visited so far. The compliments we have received make it all worth while. Last week the lovely Holly from ITV Meridian News Weather came to film her weather report amongst the sunflowers. If you saw it you’ll know we’ve got lots of sunflowers of all colours and sizes in the maze ready for you to pick and take home with you. We are open everyday throughout August 10am - 3.30pm (gates locked 4.30pm) and at £5/person (under 5’s free) it would appear that not only are we the best sunflower maze in Sussex but the cheapest too! Tell your friends and come and see for yourselves!
