Whitby has so much to offer and so much to explore from beautiful coastal walks, boat trips out, streets filled with quaint local shops and a town filled with smiling people why not take a trip to walk the Abbey grounds and run up the 199 steps.

About this space
3 bedroom light and spacious listed town house on 4 floors (be prepared for stairs!) and is centrally located in the heart of Whitby with Abbey views. Ideal for groups of couples or families. Parking permit provided.
The space
The property consists of modern kitchen in basement with dining table and chairs, open plan light and spacious dining room/living room with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. Very large king size room with view of the Abbey, twin room and shower room on 1st floor. Large double bedroom with en suite and Abbey views on the second floor. Outside there is a small, private yard with seating.
Guest access
Please note that the property is not suitable for the elderly or infirm due to the number of stairs (over 4 floors).
Other things to note
Guests will have use of a free parking permit at the nearby West Cliff car park (a 4 minute walk from the property).

We allow guests to bring one dog per booking.

Just around the corner of Lancaster House is the Jet Black Jewel. Serving gorgeous breakfast and lunch ooo and do not forget the great coffee. So make sure not to miss out num num.
