What a busy weekend!
It was a privilege to host the Exmoor Explorer - such a brilliant local mountain biking event covering some of Exmoor’s most scenic trails. The sun was shining and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves 🚴☀️

It’s been a busy week on the farm! 🚜☀️

Thanks to this lovely weather, we’ve been able to crack on with the silaging. Wednesday evening was spent sheeting down the pit - always a good feeling when that job is done! 🌾

And it’s not just campers arriving this week – some house martins have set up a pitch of their own! A new nest has appeared just outside the wash block. 🐦‍⬛🪹

We had a slightly different kind of guest on the campsite this week! 🐴⛺️

A horse and rider joined us ahead of the Golden Horseshoe Ride — the UK’s oldest competitive endurance ride, held over two days in the heart of Exmoor National Park. This year is a special one, marking the 60th anniversary of the event! 🐎🏆

With a secure paddock just a stone’s throw from your tent and direct access to open moorland, our campsite is a great base for exploring Exmoor on horseback. 🌿

We’re always happy to welcome guests of all kinds — two-legged or four!
