Gigola's Wine Cellar - გიგოლას ღვინის მარანი Gigola establishes his wine cellar late 19th century in Lagodekhi, where he made wine from black and as well as white wine grapes.

Gigola was making wine within Kvevri - large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine. Tradition lives on and rekindled recently in the Hotel Gardenia, Lagodekhi.
