⭐ 1992 წლის 23 აპრილს, დიპლომატიური ურთიერთობების დამყარებიდან სულ რაღაც ერთ თვეში, შეერთებულმა შტატებმა თბილისში საელჩო გახსნა. ეს იყო საქართველოს სუვერენიტეტისა და დამოუკიდებლობისადმი აშშ-ის მხარდაჭერის ძლიერი სიგნალი.

იმ დროს ელჩის მოვალეობის შემსრულებელმა, კერი კავანომ გახსნას ისტორიული უწოდა და აშშ-საქართველოს შორის კავშირების გაძლიერებაზე, თანამშრომლობის გაფართოებასა და ჰუმანიტარული მხარდაჭერის ხელშეწყობის გეგმებზე ისაუბრა.

დღეს, 34 წლის შემდეგ, ჩვენ სიამაყით ვაგრძელებთ ორმხრივად სასარგებლო პარტნიორობის გაძლიერებასა და განვითარებას საქართველოში.
