THE FAITH OF OUR FATHERS
Before there was a pulpit...
there was an altar.
Before there was applause...
there were tears.
Before there were crowns...
there were crosses.
This is the faith of our fathers.
A faith that walked...
when the road disappeared.
A faith that worshipped...
when the prison doors stayed shut.
A faith that sang...
before the victory came.
They were not fearless.
They simply feared God more than they feared the storm.
By faith,
Abraham left.
By faith,
Moses stood.
By faith,
David ran.
By faith,
Daniel knelt.
By faith,
the three Hebrew boys stood in the fire and declared,
"Our God is able!"
And now...
The baton is in our hands.
Will we trade conviction for convenience?
Will we exchange the altar for the stage?
Will we bow to culture,
or stand for Christ?
Our lions wear different faces.
They are called lust...
pride...
compromise...
addiction...
fear...
and distraction.
But hear me!
The God who walked with our fathers
still walks with His children.
The God who answered by fire
still answers.
The God who opened the sea
still makes a way.
The God who raised Christ from the grave
still breathes life into dead dreams and weary hearts.
So let our generation arise!
Not with borrowed faith...
but with burning faith.
Not with inherited religion...
but with a living relationship.
Not merely telling the stories of yesterday...
but becoming the testimony of today.
When history remembers us,
let it not say,
"They had the loudest voices."
Let it say,
"They had the strongest faith."
Let heaven record...
that we stood when others bowed.
That we believed when others doubted.
That we obeyed when others turned back.
For the faith of our fathers
is not a memory to preserve.
It is a fire to carry.
And by the grace of God, we will not let that fire die.
