its, each with a traditionally built stone house sleeping up to 12 people. The rooms have balconies or windows with a view either on the bay of Lavrio, the island of Makronissos and Cape Sounio or on the surrounding countryside. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and satellite TV. The facilities include a swimming pool with a pool bar, beautiful sitting areas under pergolas, a stone barbecue, a car park for 100 cars, and a helipad. Kea is easy to access from central Athens. The 60 km drive from the town centre to Lavrio takes approximately one hour, depending on traffic conditions. There are two alternatives: the seaside route along the Athens-Sounio motorway, or through the Attiki Odos toll road and the Attica midlands. The International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos is 38 km from Lavrio, that is, half an hour by car. There is a regular ferry connection between Lavrio and Kea. The boat trip lasts 1 hour.

Summer mood and thoughts hovering like young butterflies in a Spring morning all over
fleeing moments of half desires
half thoughts
Dreams that have not yet been dreamt
hopes that have not been yet articulated
in thought or speech
Their smooth fluttering of wings
taps the thick air of apprehension
encouraging a playful gesture to attempt
at snatching some of them
But they prove so evasive
that the craving of the unfulfilled urge
exhausts the mood
once they slip like fluffy substance
through our fingers
leaving speckles of dream dust behind
Expectations undefined
and unprocessed
some because of fear some of despair
remaining caged in their infinite essence
a cute spectacle to gaze at
