One of my favorite escapes near the hotel: Limni.

35-40 minutes by car, and worth every minute. Colorful harbor, tavernas right on the water, seafood so fresh you'll taste the sea in it. Streets made for wandering slowly, no real destination in mind.

There's history here too — the village goes back to the 2nd millennium BC. Legend says it's even where Zeus and Hera first met.

This morning, just a few steps from the hotel, we had the most elegant visitors.

Two swans appeared quietly by the water, moving slowly through the reeds as if they owned the whole landscape. No noise, no rush. Just calm, grace, and the soft sounds of nature waking up.

Moments like this remind us how special mornings here can be.

Sometimes the best alarm clock isn’t a phone…
It’s nature.
