Notes to myself: Day 6
What is love?
Some say it’s the feeling of looking straight into someone’s eyes and seeing your whole world reflected back.
Others say it’s the moment your mind goes quiet and only their name echoes inside.
Maybe it’s the butterflies.
Or the comfort.
Or the chaos.
Maybe it’s that song you suddenly understand.
Or the way time melts in someone’s arms.
Poets tried to name it.
Philosophers tried to map it.
Dreamers tried to hold it.
So who am I to explain such a complicated word?
And maybe… that’s the point.
Maybe love isn’t meant to be explained.
Maybe it’s meant to be felt.
Run toward it.
Chase it.
Fall for it.
Lose your logic for a while.
Then… okay, yes, bring your logic back in. Check in with yourself. Ask the hard questions.
But first…love! Love freely, love boldly. And if it’s not returned, if it doesn’t unfold the way you hoped, don’t blame your heart for trying.
It was doing what it’s meant to do.
And if you’re still reading this thinking only of other people… well.. NO. Love isn’t just about them.
It’s about you.
It’s about loving your dreams, your weird hobbies, your creative mess, your job (or the one you’re still chasing).
It’s about pouring love into the things that light your soul on fire — even if no one claps.
It doesn’t matter what kind of love you choose.
Just make sure you love — fully, wildly, honestly.
The rest will figure itself out.
