When we first arrived, Nikitas (your host) picked us up at the port (which they offer to make it convenient and stress free for your arrival) and asked us if this was our first time in greece, which it was, and asked what other islands are we going to. We responded and he said 'You will have a wonderful time here, and after you leave and see the other islands, you'll then know why Naxos is so special'....and he was so right. I waited to write this review until the end of our trip to check him on that. Naxos is incredible for many reasons. Hospitality and kindness is frequent with anyone you're dealing with, and it absolutely has a impression on Nikita's place. The apartment is extremely clean, it is beautifully decorated, the kitchen has everything you need, the bed is comfortable, the outside area is so peaceful to have your coffee / tea in the morning or wine whenever you please. Maria offered to take our laundry when we needed it (for a cost, as there isn't washer on site). You are walking distance from all the cafes, restaurants, markets / grocery stores, car rental / atv rentals (which we rented from Motoland - which I recommend personally). Everything is available, but not at the cost of your peace of mind either. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Wake up early, take a walk on the beach, drink some greek coffee and relax. Overall: If you're thinking about seeing Naxos - stay here. It's wonderful. And spend at-least 3 days here. But if you can only do 2, you'll still have a wonderful time. In hindsight, I now wish we stayed an extra day or two to see the island more. You will have great hosts who know the island very well. Rent a car or ATV (the people at motoland we're great to us). If you drink, try the Kitron! We love and hate that you can only get the drink on Naxos, so we brought some bottles home. If you're vegan / gluten free you do have options but will have the search a bit. Bottom line. Staying here would be a great decision and you'll leave missing Naxos.

A movie that captures the greek summer as we live it!

Especially for the people that they have been to a greek island in Cyclades during summer time it will bring so many memories!
