Το σαλκίμι (Wisteria), γνωστό και ως γλυσίνα, είναι φυλλοβόλο, αναρριχώμενο καλλωπιστικό φυτό με εντυπωσιακές κρεμαστές ταξιανθίες και διακριτικό άρωμα. Ανθίζει κυρίως την άνοιξη και μπορεί να ζήσει για δεκαετίες, δημιουργώντας φυσικές «οροφές» από άνθη πάνω σε πέργκολες και κήπους, καθώς και την τέλεια αντίθεση με τα χρώματα του ουρανού. 💜💙

Αν το χελιδόνι και η αμυγδαλιά δεν φέρουν την άνοιξη, σίγουρα την φέρνει το σαλκίμι. 🪻

Κάθε Απρίλιο, η αυλή αλλάζει χρώμα!
Οι κρεμαστές ταξιανθίες ξεπροβάλλουν, πριν ακόμη προλάβει να ξεδιπλωθεί το φύλλωμα, με το απαλό λιλά τους χρώμα σχεδόν λευκό στις άκρες.
Δεν κρατά πολύ — μερικές εβδομάδες μόνο, αλλά όσο είναι ανθισμένο αξίζει να το θαυμάσει κανείς!

The blue of the cool morning sea combined with the warmth of the peach palette.
Wood, stone and romantic lighting create a welcoming space for family meals in our greek village, Pinakates. 🥰

Welcome to our kitchen, the heart of every home ❣️

Is it not the perfect inspiration for anyone to try an old greek family recipe like "moussaka" or "gemista" (stuffed vegetables with rice)? 🍅🧅🥖🍴

Decorative hand drawn plates on the walls were of course a must have at every traditional house 🎨

Restoring history one beam at a time! 🕰⏳️

A glimpse of the rebirth of Urania house. The rebuilding of the wooden roof was more than necessary when the family bought the old traditional house back in 1980 and the architect Rania was not afraid to climb up and get hands-on, while pregnant to her son Stefanos.
