One of our favorite lunch spots is — it’s open for midday service only, which makes it the perfect pause between exploring and heading back to the beach or for a siesta.

Here in our corner of Rhodes, lunch starts long before the food reaches the table.

It begins with someone picking tomatoes still warm from the sun.
With olive oil poured generously — because no one here measures.
With bread passed by hand.
With chairs pulled closer without asking.

There is always one more plate.
Always one more story.
Always room for you.

On Clean Monday, the table changes — but the gathering stays the same.
Seafood instead of meat.
Octopus grilled slowly.
Taramosalata, olives, fresh lagana bread.
And after lunch, everyone heads outside to fly kites against the blue sky — a tradition that marks the beginning of Lent across Greece.

When you stay with us, we hope you don’t just visit the island —
