HOW I ENDED UP ON SAMOS:
I knew I wanted a different life.
More sun.
More nature.
More time outdoors.
We looked at houses in Spain.
France.
Italy.
Greece wasn’t even on the list.
Then I met and her husband
who owned a house
on a small island called Samos.
So I went to visit.
The moment I arrived,
I knew.
Wild.
Green.
Alive.
I moved for a few months.
No master plan.
Just instinct.
I stayed in Dimitris’ house
with him and his family.
Turns out it was for sale.
At first, it wasn’t an option.
Too big.
Too much work.
Too much responsibility.
But something shifted.
Trust.
Timing.
Shared vision.
What felt overwhelming
began to feel inevitable.
And then came the part
that felt almost symbolic.
The mountain we see from the house…
Locals call it
Καμίλα
(pronounced Camilla - my name).
Call it coincidence.
I don’t 💫⭐️
This is how Filia Garden began.
