Recommendations:
1. If you intend to visit the vulcano take with you a good pair of shoes with good soles (not sandals), a hat and sunglasses
2. Take a pair of shoes to enter in the sea because it good be very dangerous with the slippery rocks that are everywhere in the water (if you are comeing in our hotel i will tell you a place where there are not stones..:))
3. Negociate every where: the greeks always will let 1-2 euros, they are very generous people!!
4. Inside the island you cant walk between Fira and Perissa (the village where Villa Maistrali is), so you need to rent a car, scooter or an ATV (There are plenty of this, so you dont need to book before, is better to come and negociate)
5. Dont take high hills they could be inutils: there are a lot of streets with stones and stairs, even if you intend to go in clubs girls prefer confortable elegant sandals.
6. You will not need towels for our hotel, but you need towel for the beach, Villa Maistrali dont allowed to use the hotel towels on the beach!
7. The chaiselongs are not so many, but you can find with prices between 2-5 euros (sometimes they offer a drink in this price)
8. The restaurants are not expensive, with 20 euros you are eating like a king, or you can take the great cheesepies or a souvlaki (traditional shaorma)
9. Book the airplane tickets at least with one month before. Also the tickets for ferry.
10. July and august is very very hot in the time of the day, but in the night you need a small blouse.
