Rooted in this timeless classic, The Block took this classic and elevated it by choosing a wool, silk and linen-mixed fabric that beautifully blends Olympic Blue with soft Laelia Pink tones to craft a suit in a gentle and sophisticated blue tone.

Founded in the 1980s, the brand is built on the rich heritage of the father of the current lead. With a lifetime of experience in tailoring and bespoke craftsmanship, he remains fully devoted to perfecting these basic blocks. Through the invaluable feedback of clients from all corners of the world, he spent his days redrafting and refining his lifelong craft until the fit was just right.

As a tribute to his father’s legacy, the current lead, Kenneth, agreed that “The Block“ was the only choice that felt true. It honors the decades of dedication and the enduring foundation his father built, one that the brand continue to refine and evolve with every garment we create today.

We look forward to your visit to experience a bespoke craft that has stood firm in Hong Kong for over forty years.

The Block，由一份基本紙樣開始，由八十年代縫紉至今。

主理人Kenneth的父親擁有豐富的裁剪和定製經驗，並於八十年代開始西裝業務，全情灌注於鑽研紙樣。透過來自世界各地的客人的每一句反饋，日復一日地繪圖和改良，畢生精進技術，為求每件定製西裝均精準無誤，合身得恰到好處。

為致敬父親，Kenneth在決定接手延續之際，將品牌命名為The Block。一份紙樣，見證創辦人豎立的深厚根基，亦在每一天的製作中，繼續演化、日漸深厚。

This May, The Block’s brand identity unveils a brand-new color palette.

A simple yet timeless off-white serves as the backdrop for the logo, which centers around the measuring tape. It resembles a piece of suit fabric, carefully measured and ready to be cut, marking the beginning of a truly bespoke journey.

這個五月，The Block品牌標誌換上全新色系。

樸實耐看的米白色，襯托以皮尺為核心的標誌，像是一幅已量度好、準備裁剪的西裝布料，展開定製的專屬旅程。

The Measure of Excellence, only through rigorous standards can true excellence be defined.

At The Block, the measuring tape has always been our most vital partner. From the very beginning, every bespoke journey starts with a soft measuring tape carefully taking measurements, precisely understanding each client’s needs.

These measurements are then transformed into a foundational basic block. It was this very concept that gave birth to ”The Block“ over forty years ago. Passed down from father to son, we continue to strive for perfection in every custom piece.

玉尺量才，以嚴謹標準把關，方能衡量人才。

尺，一直是The Block的重要夥伴。定制之初，永遠始於以皮尺細心度身，精準了解客人需要。

尺寸後來就製作成基本紙樣，成為一件衣服最原始的模樣。以上概念在四十多年前孕育出「The Block」，由父傳子，每件定制均力臻完美。

After exploring Loro Piana the journey of making the luxurious fabric in Roccapietra and Quarona earlier this year, we’ve reunited with the Tailor Society for an exclusive SS27 Fabric preview at the Park Hyatt Shenzhen last month.

We are thrilled to be selected as one of the tailors to experiencing firsthand how the innovative techniques enhances the possibilities of new tailors work can be done.

繼年初造訪 Loro Piana 位於義大利 Roccapietra 和 Quarona 工廠後，上月 The Block 受邀出席 Loro Piana 於深圳 Park Hyatt 舉辦的 Tailor Society 活動。SS27 面料預展的亮點，是採用突破性紡織技術、富有彈性的純麻質布料終於面世。The Block 非常高興能成為優先體驗新布料的裁縫品牌，亦期待見證新技術帶來的突破。
