It's with heartfelt sadness that we communicate that Louise (a.k.a. "Lou-Lou," "440") passed yesterday. She was the inseparable adventure partner of her sister, Thelma, who survives her. Lou-Lou lived a wonderful life here at Paya the nine years she was with us. She brought her own special energy to the mix and will be greatly missed by her humans.

The Mahoe Variegated Sea Hibiscus puts out a beautiful yellow blossom. Once fully mature, the yellow flowers helicopter to the ground and pretty consistently land face up.
