Delusion drives innovation, change, and solutions. It will also drive you up a thousand walls 🙃 When we started this process at , I had a hard time grasping what was being asked of us. I couldn’t see the benefit; I couldn’t understand the big picture and it frustrated me. I’m a Scorpio…I don’t do confusion 😒
In our cohort orientation meeting, I took a deep angry sigh, looked at .greer, packed my bag and said “Nope! We’re not doing this. It doesn’t make sense. I’m out.” 5 minutes later, we were deep breathing together while I sobbed with my toes in the grass. After validating my feelings, she assured me that we would NOT be walking away from the opportunity and everything was going to be fine. We talked about it at the staff meeting and everyone agreed…”EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!”

2 years later and it looks like they were right 😍 has become Tennessee’s FIRST and ONLY Accredited Community Health Worker Program, specializing in training Perinatal CHWs 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Congratulations y’all 🧡
