This ceremony usually held before the silent day or Nyepi Day.
The purpose of this ceremony is to purify Bhuana Alit (small world – Human body) as well as Bhuana Agung (this universe) from bad influences, bad deeds and bad thoughts 😇

Ubud is in many ways Bali's cultural heart. It's in the cool mountains, just an hour's drive north of the airport. This traditional country town is home to one of Bali's royal families. You can even visit the majestic palace in the centre of town. Ubud is also well known as a flourishing crafts centre.

Around Ubud, there are the surrounding villages of Campuhan, Penestanan, Peliatan and Batuan. These communities specialise in crafts and woodcarving which are sold all over the island. There are hundreds of shops selling antiques, woodcarvings, crafts, textiles, paintings and jewellery in Ubud. You'll also find some of the best art museums in the country here. Along Ubud's main street are dozens of art studios, an excellent local craft market and galleries.

Amazing rays of afternoon light through this cave ❤

Tegal Wangi Beach is one of the most unique ‘hidden’ beaches to grace the western rim of the southern Bukit Peninsula, and despite the fact it’s not very well-known amongst locals, it is ‘in plain sight’, and publicly accessible. Tegal Wangi Beach is named after the temple perched on top of the limestone cliff that overlooks the coast, reachable via a paved road just to the right of the entrance of the glitzy Ayana Resort and Spa in Jimbaran.

Tegal Wangi Beach offers breathtaking seascapes with cool natural features – low tides and crimson sunsets reveal seaweed-covered stony barriers that add an abstract border and foreground to its wider ocean views. This beach was, quite casually, kept a secret among wedding photographers over time, admired for its simple and barren beauty making particularly exotic backdrops. The best time to visit is before sunset and around the ‘blue hour’ (18:00 – 19:00). A hundred meters or so down the winding road from the Ayana, a car park adjacent to the Pura Tegal Wangi temple is obstructed by a high wall, which adds more mystery to first-time visitors – or instead deter them altogether. But once you find your way in, small glimpses of the ocean panorama are visible behind the hill’s shrubbery. It’s these views of the Indian Ocean from a hundred meters up from Tegal Wangi Beach that draws young local couples to the grassy headland, all laying claim to each of the their ‘favourite spots’.

Iconic Entrance gateway in Buleleng 🌏
The address is: Desa Singaraja-Denpasar, Pancasari, Sukasada, Pancasari, Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81161, Indonesia.
It takes about 1 1/2 from Ubud to get this place. The same amount of time to drive back. If you are leaving from Seminyak or Canggu I would add an extra hour or 2 of travel time to the trip.
Once you get there, you can have a photoshoot at the gate. There is no time limit on how long to stay.
