Today Bali reminds us of something truly special.
This morning, the beaches filled with the beautiful Melasti ceremony — a sacred moment where Balinese communities walk together to the ocean carrying the temple’s holy objects, purifying them in the sea before Nyepi, the Day of Silence.
Watching this devotion is deeply moving. Generations walking side by side, dressed in white, offering prayers, flowers, and gratitude to the ocean. It is a powerful reminder of the respect Balinese people have for nature, spirituality, and balance.
We feel incredibly grateful that AMAR is part of this island and able to witness these moments of culture, faith, and community.
