From the private balcony of each bungalow, or the open dining and even the pool you have a view of the rice fields. Remoteness is another aspect that make us unique. Situated in a small quiet village near Amlapura or Tirta Gangga far from the tourist traps that have turned Bali from a peaceful island into a bustling tourist oriented place. Kubu Carik translated from Balinese means: kubu = free standing hut and carik = a rice field when dry. Although you may think this title an understatement it defines our place for what it was intended to be and what it is. This place was created as a retreat on this beautiful island of Bali. A place to "get away from it all". All the time keeping in mind that it should not be pretentious. Why destroy the beautiful view of the rice fields with a villa that would stick out like a sore thumb. Obviously Kubu Carik boasts almost all the ammenities of a modern holiday villa, but it hopes to blend into the enviroment with its Balinese village style set up, alang-alang thatched roofs and lush tropical garden.
