Amarell Ubud Villa Blessing Ritual…May 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Would like to thank Pak Made and his daughter Ketut for making all the arrangements.

Holy water, fire, ash, geese, duck, eggs and Dabdab tree leave are purifying elements used in the ritual. The Balinese are extremely devout and no day goes by without making offerings to the gods. These daily offerings – called Banten are a major part of Balinese life.

The rituals have to be performed on a date and time that is deemed auspicious by a priest based on Balinese calendars.
