Is the Kerry Way on your bucket List? 🥾🌿
Why not book a weekend at Tobervilla and walk 'argueably' the BEST sections of the Kerry Way!
DAY 1- Take the Local Link bus to Waterville and walk back to Caherdaniel taking in the Skillig Islands and Derrynane Bay. Walkers that do the whole route tell me this is the MOST spectacular leg! Finish the day with a pint and meal at Caherdaniel's famous Blind Piper Pub.
DAY 2- Walk to Sneem detouring to the Staigue Fort to take in one of the best preserved Iron Age Forts in Ireland. Have a lovely meal in D O'Sheas Pub or The Bridge Bar in Sneem and then catch the 3:30 or 7:20pm bus back to Caherdaniel for some RnR in the Hot tub, under the Dark Sky Reserve 🛀🌠

Been a little slow on the social media, but a lot happening behind the scenes as we get organised for the season.
It was such an honour to host Bishop Ray Browne our local priest Fr Sean, local sacristans and our teachers after the Confirmation celebration at Caherdaniel. A high tea style lunch and cooked in the Tobervilla Kitchen.

One of the super special aspects of Tobervilla House retreats is the nutrition! Both in the menu that provides gourmet, wholefood-focused, nutritionally sound, and varied healthy choices. And through the dedicated Nutritional workshop and cookery demonstration. 🫐🍓🍲🍜🍝🥘🥟🍱🫘🥜🤤

There is so much on the menu for our retreat weekends- Filling breakfasts, nourishing snacks and diverse dinner options. Melissa a trained Home Economics/catering teacher and teacher of adult eduction delivers the workshop & cookery demonstration to help you to impliment these learnings in your life! This takes place Sunday morning as we demonstrate skills from 4 separate dishes, so you will be able to reproduce the dishes at home.

📕You also get to TAKE HOME a recipe book packed with tried and tested healthy recipes & a section on healthy eating. You can see we really enjoy ourselves in these sessions and we'd love to have you along on our retreat weekend on the 6th March, 2026 (cookery demonstration SUNDAY 8TH).
