Calling on all pet owners to act responsibly during this spell of hot weather.
Your dog could suffer a serious injury or die within minutes if left unattended in a car during this hot weather. The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.
Leaving windows down more than 2 inches will NOT prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures. Even when parked in the shade the vehicle temperature can reach more than 104 degrees.
Your dog trusts you to have their best interests at heart ALWAYS. Please don't risk their safety.

Disappointed to hear this news. Was so looking forward to our trip on the ferry.

The news we thought was coming but didn’t want to see - will not be operating in 2026. No more hopping over to Greencastle and Cranfield Beach, no more ‘Le Tour du Lough’ or Carlingford Lough Loop Sportive organised by . It’s sad because it was such a great service and run extremely well. Thanks for the years you gave us and fingers crossed for future years
