Our donkeys were mesmerised yesterday with our special guests playing the tin whistle, thanks Bro.

This weekend only we are unfortunately closed on Saturday and only open 10-12 midday on Sunday.Back to normal following ...

That's me, Sarah, mainly behind the camera, not in front.
Love my little family here.
Moved here during Covid, set up serving coffee and running a small bnb and have never looked back.
Friends obsessed, both real life and sitcom.
Feel blessed to have amazing friends and family around me.
Really have the best community here with customers, friends and neighbours.
The animals here really do make it magical.
Feel grateful everyday 💚

Molly, protector of us all.
Has rather large ears, but then so do the donkeys.
Makes sure everyone is in the right place.
Has a beauty spot on her bum.
Malachi is her favourite, not sure its reciprocated
Lives for her walks comfy bed and snuggles.

Tess, the youngest donkey here, such a beautiful character, a kind a gentle soul....can sometimes take you by surprise with her bold antics, like the great escape.

Zig and Zag are cross Black Nose Valais cross Jacob boy sheep.
A dear friend bred them and convinced me to take them....im so glad she did.
Will follow you anywhere for food.
Grow a huge coat and are sheared twice a year, our neighbour loves that.....not 😂
Loves apples, which is handy as we have plenty

Caroline, the largest of the brown donkeys.
Quietly confident with high expectations.
Can be a bit bossy at times, but shes only keeping order, and she is very good at it.
Prefers carrots over apples.
Does not like broccoli

Fauna and Flora, Flora is the ringleader and believes shes in charge......of all of us!
Terrorise the sheep....and Molly
Run like Linford Christy when they see food arriving.
Have on occasion jumped into strangers cars.....taken for a ride....then returned
Wander literally everywhere, spend quite a lot of time at the neighbours for yet more treats.
The donkeys will protect them feircly, which is probably why they are so bold.
They clean up pretty good.

Thought we should maybe introduce a few of the team here, each has their own role to play.
Starting with Malachi, an older gent and the reason we got our name. Given any chance, will escape his paddock for greener grass, or treats or flower pots.
He is a wise soul, who will weigh you up and suss out quite quickly what benefits you could bring to his life, like carrots.
However if you bear any resemblance to a farrier, vet or any person who is likely to administer pills or worming solution, he will not come within 50 feet. He's no fool.
We all love this boy, he is definitely the King of our Kingdom and holds the utmost respect from all of us, despite his antics 💚
