We’ve been busy adding something special to the glamping site … 🦉 Our brand-new owl boxes! These cosy ‘cabins’ help support local owl populations by giving them safe nesting spots. Each one has been carefully placed overlooking open fields with a clear flight path for these night time hunters.
Next time you stay, listen closely after dark — you could be serenaded by our newest neighbours 🦉

The Cuckoo has arrived!
Every year, around mid-April, the Cuckoo flies all the way from Africa to the fields around Ravens Rock Glamping—heralding that summer is on its way. This year was no exception—she arrived on April 17th.

You can hear her call from our cabins from now until July.

Folklore.ie supplied us with this lovely rhyme:

The Cuckoo comes in April
She sings her song in May
In the middle of June
Changes her tune
And July she flies away.

A small DIY summer upgrade to one of our kitchen areas. We love upcycling here at Raven’s Rock and have given new life to lots of old pieces which you can spot around our site.
Our kitchen areas are one of the highlights reported by our guests. Each cabin has their own covered space to cook and eat. We have everything you might need to cook up a feast including a gas stove, BBQ, microwave and utensils.
