WE DID IT! 🎉

Laurel Lodge’s first-ever playground is officially OPEN FOR PLAY this MONDAY 19th January! 🛝 🙌🏽

What started back in 2019 with a small group of local parents and one clear aim; to get a much-needed playground for the children of Laurel Lodge…has finally become a reality!

After petitions, setbacks, opposition, covid and budget delays, we’re absolutely thrilled after almost 7 years (my youngest was 3 when we started, now turning 10 this year 😅) to see a space where parents, minders, guardians and kids can gather, socialise, make memories and build friendships ~ adding even more to the wonderful Laurel Lodge community!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the cause, made submissions, wrote to local councillors and kept the momentum going!! We wouldn’t have this great play area without everyone’s voice!

🎉 Playground Update – Laurel Lodge 🎉

🛝 We were told by in mid-late May that the long-awaited playground works would begin within the month—so we’re hopeful that in the next two weeks, we’ll finally see boots on the ground! 🛠️👷‍♀️

Keep your eyes peeled and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way. Exciting times ahead for the kids (and the grown-ups too)! 🌳✨
