For Your Club is a monthly online competition aimed at members and supporters of Sports Clubs on the Island of Ireland.
~ Do I have to be a paid up member of a Club to take part? You can be a supporter and represent the Club you support.
~ What Sports does my Club have to play? Your Club needs to be registered with one of the following Governing Bodies;
• Gaelic Athletic Association (Mens & Ladi
es Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, Handball & Rounders)
• Football Association of Ireland / Irish Football Association
• Irish Rugby Football Union
• Hockey Ireland
• Cricket Ireland
• Basketball Ireland
• Netball Ireland / Netball Northern Ireland
• Cycling Ireland
• Irish Athletic Boxing Association
~ How many members from my Club can enter the For Your Club competition? The competition is limited to only 1 member per Club each month. This is to ensure that every Club, regardless of size, has an equal chance of winning each month. A Club that has less that one hundred members will have the same chance of winning as a Club with thousands of members. A Club will only be able to be represented once in the For Your Club competition
~ What happens if I am a member of more than one Club e.g. a GAA Club, an IRFU Club, and a Basketball Ireland Club? You can enter the For Your Club competition for each of the Clubs you are a member or supporter of. By doing this, you are increasing your chances of winning, but each Club will still only be represented once in the competition, and therefore have the same chances as every other Club taking part.
~ How it a winner selected? At the end of each month, the Club Name of all the entrants that’s answered the three questions correctly will be placed in a draw to decide the winning Club. This will be done with a random name generator.
~ How does the Referral System work? To reward those who take part in the For Your Club competition and subsequently refer others to the competition, a separate prize will be awarded to one selected individual winner (not the Club). When a participant enters the For Your Club Competition, they will be provided with a unique number. They will then share this number with those that they refer to the competition. The referred person will be asked to insert this number when they are completing the entering process to the competition.
