This Sunday sees the start of a series of 5 special walks in very special places in Inishowen designed for local people. The peninsula is a rare and varied habitat, being surrounded on 3 sides by water. The ancient glaciated landscape has a deep heritage, much of it preserved in it's upland areas, from alpine plants to healing wells, and into the modern era, playing a major role in the development of modern mapping and a rich maritime connection.
