Printers’ Day was Celebrated by Offset Printers Association (Regd.) Amritsar on February 24, 2018 at A G A Heritage Club, Amritsar. Celebration was started by Prof. Sanjay Mahajan Secretary. Sh. Maninder Singh President Welcomed all the members and guests. Sh. Sunil Dutti MLA North Amritsar and Sh. Jugal Kishore Sharma Ex. MLA and President Amritsar Congress Commitee were Guests of Honour in the function. A special Presentation developed by Sh. Vineet Pawa Executive member was shown to the members and guests, on how printing was done in earlier times and how advanced Printing technology is now days. Remembering Johannes Gutenberg the Cake was cut by the Guests of Honour along with office Bearers of OPA. This is first time ever in the history Team OPA Honoured owners of seven oldest printing presses and suppliers M/s. Jeewan Printers, Pawan Printing Press, Es**rt Press, Delite Press, Grover Press, J S Processors and The Excelsior Trading Co. which are in this industry from more than fifty years. Beautiful momentos were presented to both the Guests of Honour by team OPA. Over 60 members and guests attended the function. A Beautiful return gift was also presented to each member. Rubjeet Singh Gen. Secretary and Raman Kumar Vice President were Project Incharge and Organising Secretary of the event. Other than above, Harbhajan Singh Patron, Ramesh Mahajan Vice President, Wazir Singh Narula Finance Secretary, Armandeep Singh PRO, Executive Members Satinder Pal Singh, Rajesh Bhardwaj, Sumeet Khanna, Sachin Mehra and others were present in the meeting.

Seminar on GST was organised by OPA Amritsar on Monday 12th February 2018 at Amritsar Club. CA Gaurav Arora presented very informative and detailed speech and guided the members not to take any hassle on GST issues. The seminar was worth attending. Other than GST issue. Team OPA discussed on future projects and decided to implement the projects soon.

7th Anniversary Celebrations and Annual General Body Meeting of OPA was celebrated on January 28, 2018 at Hotel Royal Vitana, Amritsar. Meeting was started by Prof. Sanjay Mahajan and Welcome address was done by President Sh. Maninder Singh and after that Annual Report of activities was presented by General Secretary Sh. Rubjeet Singh, Sh. Kamal Chopra Imm. Past President AIFMP and Sh. Ashwani Gupta Fin. Secretary AIFMP with Sh. Jagjit Singh Walia ADCP City Amritsar were Guests of Honour. New Year Calendar 2018 was released at the meeting. 5 Lucky Draw Gifts were presented to the winners of Lucky Draw. Over 140 Members and Guests attended the Meeting. Sh. Kamal Chopra, Sh. Ashwani Gupta, Sh. Jagjit Singh Walia and Delegates of JPA Jalandhar, Pathankot Printers Association and Batala Printers Association all were presented with Token of Love by the Team OPA. Vote of Thanks was given by Patron Sh. Harbhajan Singh. Meeting was ended with International Dance performances, Gala Nite and Dinner. Other than all Raman Kumar, Ramesh Mahajan, Moti Lal,Wazir Singh Narula, Prabhjit Singh, Piyush Mahajan, Sanjay Mahajan, Armandeep Singh, Satinder Pal Singh, Rajesh Bhardwaj, Sumeet Khanna, Vineet Pawa, Sachin Mehra, Amit Aggarwal were present in the meeting.

Seminar on GST was organised by OPA Amritsar on June 12, 2017 at Hotel HK Clarks Inn. Sh. O P Soni, MLA Amritsar was Chief Guest, Sh. Vikas Soni, Sh. Gaurav Arora (CA), S. Charanjit Singh Chadha President Chief Khalsa Diwan, S. K S Khurana, S. Paramjit Singh Kalsi, Sh. T R Mahajan was Guests of Honour in the Seminar. It was very successful and great event as Sh. O P Soni in his speech assured to the members of OPA that he will put all his efforts to get the allotment of Land for Printing Institute to be run by OPA, Amritsar. In the seminar Sh. Gaurav Arora CA presented on GST very attractively as he made complete details on enrolment on GST and was very easy to understand for our Printing and Paper Industry. Sh. Maninder Singh Welcomed the Guests and Members, As Prof. Sanjay Mahajan was Stage Secretary. Over 80 printers from Amritsar attended the seminar. At the end S. Harbhajan Singh Thanked all the guests for attending the meeting. Other than above S. Rubjeet Singh Gen. Secretary, Sh. Moti Lal Vice President, Sh. Raman Kumar, Vice President, S.
