Day 2, 6th Jan 2024 Reached Kathmandu 44600, Nepal at 7 AM and checked into the stay for the day Elbrus Home at 7:30 AM. It is a very green place to stay in the center of a very busy city. The Rooms are averagely maintained but the Garden outside makes you feel alive and fresh. Costs 2000 NPR per night....

The White Evening ⛄️🥶❄️🌬☃️
Day 3/40, 2nd February 2021, Entering Zuluk
The road we had taken is not even visible in Google maps. It was a completely off road experience through the Neora Valley Forest till we reached Rongli, West Bengal, India checkpoint. It is the Bengal Sikkim border. We applied for permits. The lady cops were very generous and extended by permit to Zuluk to as many days as we wanted. They were very jovial and so were we. We refueled our car, ourselves, our purses and resumed.

By afternoon we entered Zuluk and we saw snow for the first time this trip, a lot of it lying peacefully around the roads looking innocent and harmless.
Little did we know, what was up next.
