Isla Maria Van Damme’s ( ) life has never really gone according to plan.​

Good Earth visits the free-spirited Belgian designer and celebrated aesthete at her home in Palani Hills, where she speaks of the rewards of a journey unplanned.​

It was a series of unexpected turns that brought her here - to a home nestled in green canopies, where every morning begins with animal chatter, birdsong, and a sense of happiness reminiscent of her childhood days. ​

“This is my dream,” says Isla, and now we know why. ​
