People of Ananta: Meet Rupam Das! He serves as Chief Operating Officer at Ananta Global Hotels, overlooking company expansion, multi-property operations and onboarding of new properties.

He brings over three decades of experience in hospitality business development and operations to the group.
His career spans senior leadership roles across ITC Welcome Group, Panoramic Group of Hotels, Cambay Hotels and The Clarks Hotels and Resorts where he guided portfolio growth from 62 to 142 properties, executed numerous development projects across greenfield, brownfield and conversion formats and built high-performing teams across all departments.

At Ananta Global, Rupam drives the group's asset-light expansion model with a focus on existing hotel operations, new hotel acquisitions, identifying high-potential destinations, building owner-partner relationships and ensuring each new property delivers on the Ananta promise of nature-led, culturally rooted hospitality. From pilgrimage towns and wildlife corridors to metro and tier-2 cities and international markets, his strategic vision is shaping where and how Ananta grows next.
