We the students of boys hostel have decided to publish a magazine for 2018-2019 session.
We will be accepting following:

Essays on Current Affairs, Global Affairs, technology and advances in engineering sciences. (400-800 words)

Photo Essay (1-7 photos with a caption).

Poetry

Short stories (Fiction, Sci-fi and non-fiction).

Any other creative art will be welcomed.

Note: Your work should be unpublished, non plagiarised.
All students of GCET Jammu are welcomed to send their work(in a doc file) at [email protected] by or before 10/10/2018.

Today's protest was revolutionary. It was mass reported by media across the state. Leaders across spectrum have responded affirmatively. Sources told us, Govt. is taking up issue seriously. College administration was approached and told to give report by JK CM's grievance cell and Higher Education Department.
Issues has been escalated to higher channels of state government administration.
Multiple news reporters visited protest venue, which you will see in newspapers in morning.
It is not matter of only hostel problems, but of whole college.
Our demands include.
- Wifi without interruptions.
- ‎24*7 library with updated books.
- ‎Industrial tours.
- ‎Education tours.
- ‎Trianing & Placements.
- ‎Expert Clasess.
- ‎Action on CAG report which has pointed out financial mismanagement, unutilized funds.
- ‎Proper transport system.
Today's protest has brought a tangible change in working eco-system of college administration. Hostel's water supply of one block was restored temporary.
Govt. is seriously looking after it. It is a now or never situation.
Now it's upon all students to fight for their rights. You must report before 9:30 A.M at main gate of the campus.
It is only way to save future from darkness. Else we all are doomed.
