The Yakten Tourism Cooperative Society Ltd. successfully organized a Waste Scavenger and Cleanliness Drive, covering approximately 3.5 km in Yakten and the surrounding villages.A village stays beautiful when its people choose to care for it - together. 🌿

In Yakten, the local community, homestay owners, didi’s, and children came together to clean the village roads and surroundings. No grand gestures - just many hands, shared responsibility, and pride in the place they call home.

“आफ्नो गाउँ आफै बनाऔं”
Let’s build our village with our own hands.

This is the community spirit at the heart of Nomad Village, Yakten.



The initiative was carried out with the vision of “Afnu Gaon Afai Banau” (“Let’s Build Our Own Village”), encouraging community participation in keeping the village clean, green, and beautiful.
