Jivdhan is a hill fortress situated 1 km near the modern day town of Ghatghar in Junnar Taluka of Pune district in Maharashtra, India. Perched in the Junnar as the base of the trek, the fort is located at an altitude of 3,757 ft above sea level. The fort is antiquely related to the pre-historic times of Satavahana reign. When Naneghat acted as the major spot of the trading business in the timeworn, Jivdhan fort served as the savior of the trade route as it was adequately connected to the sea.
