I Sonam Pintso Sherpa - Green Sherpa / Green Sherpa am ready for another fascinating night of observing and photographing moths using the light-trapping method.
This activity is dedicated to documenting the incredible diversity of moths in Rimbi, West Sikkim, India, while promoting awareness and appreciation of these beautiful yet often overlooked nocturnal insects.
I sincerely hope that the weather and nature will be in our favour, allowing us to observe and photograph a wonderful variety of species.
Every observation adds valuable knowledge to the biodiversity of our region and helps strengthen future conservation efforts.

I am doing butterfly tourism in Sikkim, and introducing a new subject is not easy.
But now I can say it is flourishing, whereas before it was still at an initial stage. This journey has been a continuous process of learning and a big challenge for me.
However, after every tour, when I see the satisfied faces and happy hearts of the guests, I feel that I have contributed something meaningful to the land.
Today, Sikkim is becoming one of the butterfly hotspots and destinations in the country, and being a small part of this journey gives me happiness and motivation to continue.
This carries the story of butterfly tourism growing in Sikkim. 🦋
