A healthy planet begins with our actions today. 🌎🦋

I am doing butterfly tourism in Sikkim, and introducing a new subject is not easy.
But now I can say it is flourishing, whereas before it was still at an initial stage. This journey has been a continuous process of learning and a big challenge for me.
However, after every tour, when I see the satisfied faces and happy hearts of the guests, I feel that I have contributed something meaningful to the land.
Today, Sikkim is becoming one of the butterfly hotspots and destinations in the country, and being a small part of this journey gives me happiness and motivation to continue.
This carries the story of butterfly tourism growing in Sikkim. 🦋

Rimbi Waterfalls… 🌿💧
Rimbi Waterfalls, located near Pelling in West Sikkim, is a breathtaking natural wonder where the clear waters of the Rimbi Khola descend gracefully, creating a beautiful cascade surrounded by rich greenery, forests, and vibrant Himalayan landscapes.
Situated around 12 km from Pelling on the route to Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksom, this scenic spot attracts travellers, photographers, and nature lovers alike. Visitors can enjoy the soothing sound of flowing water, capture stunning photographs, and spend peaceful moments amidst nature.
Rimbi is more than just a waterfall — it is a place where nature, culture, and biodiversity quietly meet. The surrounding landscape is blessed with rich vegetation, agricultural fields, forest patches, and habitats that support butterflies, birds, insects, and many other forms of life. During different seasons, the area transforms beautifully, offering changing colours and moods to visitors.
During the monsoon, the waterfall becomes more powerful and dramatic as the water volume rises, while in other seasons it reflects a calm and serene charm. The fresh mountain air, misty surroundings, and the sound of rushing water create a peaceful experience that stays in memory long after the visit.
For many, Rimbi is not only a destination but an emotion — a place carrying stories of village life, natural beauty, and the untouched charm of rural Sikkim.
Rimbi Waterfalls truly stands as one of the gems of West Sikkim, inviting visitors to slow down, admire nature, and reconnect with the Himalayan landscape.
