Takdah a village located in the district of Darjeeling,West Bengal was earlier the residence of British soldiers of High rank. After independence just like other towns and cities this village was abandoned by the new order but a lot of British infrastructures are still standing still like the pillars of legacy.
Parampara heritage homestay stands strong from the period of British era where this was known as the Post Office from the year of 1911 till 1941 from hereby on after the withdrawal of britishers this was looked after by my grandfather followed by my father at presence. It now has been turned into a heritage so that people can spend a night where they can experience the cold breezy nights,inside their rooms with a warm and cozy fire,right beside their beds just like how the old ruling British soldiers did.
