On the 75th anniversary of NCC,110 cadets, 1 ANO & PI staff of 1GCTR organised a Blood donation camp Awareness rally, Quiz and Debate competition as a part of NCC Day and Indian Constitution Day Celebration.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC), one of the largest uniformed youth organisations in the world was formed on 15th July 1948. However, the NCC day is observed throughout the country, on the fourthSunday of November, because, it was on that day in 1948 that the first units raised in Delhi.

Constitution Day also known as 'Samvidhan Divas', is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950.

LCPL Patel Aniruddh R of 1GCTR Baroda, secured GOLD Medal at the "32 All India G V Mavalankar Shooting Championship" in the 50m Prone small bore rifle shooting, held at ARMY MARKMANSHIP UNIT, MHOW, organised by NRAI. He was commended for his excellent hardwork by Col. R.R. Singh CO, 1GCTR.

The G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship is an annual sporting event that brings together some of the finest marksmen and markswomen from across the country. Named in honor of Shri Ganesh Vasudev Mavalankar, this championship is a testament to his legacy and commitment to the promotion of sports in the nation. The event serves as a platform for aspiring shooters to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

CDT Drashti Mohite of NCC 1GCTR VADODARA, had an in person meeting with PMO during the Inauguration of Ahmedabad metro.

She represented the University Sports commitee as she excelled in volleyball and Malkhambh.

1GCTR takes pride in grooming such brilliant Talent and showcasing them at national level.

3 cadets from 1GCTR NCC Baroda attended SPNT Camp.
The camp lasted for a week.
During the camp they covered 100km while trekking, climbed a steep hilltop and visited SOU.

As the camp was about to end,
In tug of war competition CDT KEYUR GOHEL won a shield for winning the competition.

Overall it was very nice and appealing camp for the cadets.

CDT KEYUR GOHEL.

As per orders received from NCC Directorate Gujarat.
NCC VRIKSHAROPAN ABHIYAN,
A joint activity of NCC Directorate Gujarat and Forest Department was to be held at respective Groups and Units under them.

1GCTR took quick action on the Orders received and commenced Vriksharopan abhiyan on 3rd August 2021.

With the sky turning smooth and cool breeze all around the activity begin at 1000 hours in presence of 1 Officer , 3 ANO , 6 PI STAFF and 70 Cadets. Total 150 saplings of trees were planted.

Cadets ploughed the grounds of MSU FTE, MSU Polytechnic Hostel Campus and Navlakhi Ground with seeds of goodwill , Dedication and with the zeal to save our environment and plant more life all around us.
