Delicious homemade pizza:
INGREDIENTS
For dough
🍕 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
🍕 1 ¼ cups warm water
🍕 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
🍕 1 tsp sugar
🍕 1 tsp salt
🍕 2 tbsp oil
FOR THE SAUCE :
🥣 1 cup tomato sauce (or boil and peeled crushed tomatoes)
🥣 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
🥣 1 tsp dried oregano
🥣 1 tsp dried basil
🥣 Salt and pepper to taste
FOR THE TOPPINGS
🥗 Shredded mozzarella cheese
🥗 Your favorite toppings (pepperoni,paneer,vegetables, mushrooms, olives, jalapeno, chicken cubes etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS
DOUGH PREPARATION
🫓 In a small bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
🫓 In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and oil. Mix until a dough forms.
🫓 Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth.
🫓Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
SAUCE PREPARATION
🥫Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.

🥫Let the sauce sit cool while the dough rises to allow the flavors to meld.
ASSEMBLE PIZZA
🍕Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
🍕 Punch down the dough and divide it into 2–3 portions for smaller pizzas or use it as one large dough.
🍕Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to parchment paper for easier handling.
🍕Spread the sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add your desired toppings.
BAKE THE PIZZA
🍕Carefully transfer the pizza (with parchment paper) to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
🍕Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
🍕Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice and serve hot
