Which one is your preferred style to visit Iran?

Before making any decision, here's some notes to know about:

1. Passport holders of USA,Canada and UK are not eligible to travel to Iran independently (I mean without tour guide)

2. Iran is safe enough to travel solo; but it worth to have an experienced tour guide for help.

3. If you haven't book your travel services (like hotel) in advance, you need to bring more cash which might be dangerous.

Internet speed is fairly good and VPN is available to connect to the restricted apps and websites.

How to enter Iran during the pandemic?

1) TOURIST AND ZIARAT VISA ARE CLOSED
Iran borders are closed due to the COVID-19. So, it is not possible to travel to Iran as usual right now.

2) BUSINESS AND HEALTH VISA
Despite all the restrictions, the embassy still issue business and health visa to the travelers.

3)BUSINESS VISA
For business visa, a company must host you in Iran and give you an invitation letter in this regard.

4) HEALTH VISA
For health visa, you need to provide medical documents, previous procedure done in the country of origin, and the patient's history by your doctor.

5) BOTTOM LINE
So far, the embassy did not announce a specific date for tourist visa re-opening. So, for now. the only way to get into Iran is through the business and health visa.
