From Bochum ( germany) to the heart of Tuscany, this wonderful young couple brought so much energy, love, and pure joy to our villa! It was an absolute honor to host them, along with their amazing family and friends, for a multi-day wedding celebration that we will never forget.

Last week we hosted our first wedding of the season!❤️

There is a unique kind of magic that happens when different worlds meet in the heart of Tuscany. ✨
We are still dreaming about the beautiful wedding of Neriana and Jeremy. She brought the vibrant soul of her Albanian heritage, and he brought the warm energy of Florida, merging their stories right here at Villa Poggio di Gaville. 🇦🇱🇺🇸
It wasn’t just a wedding; it was a soulful gathering. Surrounded by their closest family and dearest friends, they celebrated their love in the most authentic way—with long tables, heartfelt toasts, and the golden Tuscan light filtering through the trees. 🌿🍷
Seeing our Agriturismo filled with such diverse cultures, united by the simple joy of being together, reminds us why we love what we do. From the emotional ceremony to the intimate dinner under the stars, every moment felt like home.

From burpees to barefoot yoga under the Tuscan sun ✨

Eleven strong women, one beautiful bride-to-be, and a weekend dedicated to celebrating friendship, love, and new beginnings. They traded their CrossFit routines for a slower pace—starting with a peaceful yoga session surrounded by Tuscan nature, followed by a long dinner filled with laughter, stories, and toasts to the bride-to-be.

Between moments of relaxation by the pool, golden sunsets, and time spent simply being together, this bachelorette getaway became more than just a celebration—it became a collection of memories they’ll carry with them forever. A perfect Tuscan escape to honor friendship, strength, and the exciting journey ahead 🌿🤍✨

Pappa al pomodoro comes from Tuscany and is a classic example of cucina povera (peasant cooking), where nothing was wasted. Farmers would reuse stale, unsalted bread, typical of the region, and combine it with ripe tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and basil to create a dish that is simple yet deeply flavorful.

🫶Today, it’s loved as a symbol of Italian tradition—proof that a few basic ingredients can turn into something truly iconic

🧾 Ingredients (serves 4)

🔸400 g stale crusty bread (ideally unsalted Tuscan bread)
🔸800 g ripe tomatoes or good-quality canned peeled tomatoes
🔸2 garlic cloves
🔸Extra virgin olive oil
🔸Fresh basil 🌿
🔸Salt & black pepper

👩‍🍳 Method
•Start the base: Gently sauté the garlic in a generous splash of olive oil until fragrant (don’t burn it).
•Stir in the tomatoes (peeled and crushed if fresh). Simmer 10–15 minutes until it becomes a simple sauce.
•Add the bread: Tear the stale bread into chunks and add it to the pot.
•Cook & stir: Pour in some broth, a little at a time, stirring often. The bread will break down and thicken the mixture. Cook for about 20–30 minutes until creamy.
•Finish: add some extra virgin olive oil and mozzarella!

Last week we hosted a Wine 🍷& Yoga 🧘‍♀️ retreat held by .finn.yoga and !
Every day a double Session of yoga a wine tasting and a surprise dinner every night with our chef!🧑‍🍳
The group was a blend of different personalities and cultures, all with an open minded soul and a positive attitude towards life coming from different parts of the world! 🌎
5 days to slow down and reconnect with yourself and nature.
We feel full of gratitude to have been chosen as the location for this retreat and hope to host a 2nd edition next year!

Sandra & Jorrit: out of ordinary love story!🫶
Our relationship, just like the way we met, has always been a little out of the ordinary.
One year ago, I returned to my hometown in Germany due to a death in my family. That’s where I met Jorrit, who had recently moved there for his studies.
By pure chance, our paths crossed in an unexpected way, and from the very beginning it felt like the universe had lined things up just right.

It didn’t take long for us to become an unbeatable team- navigating grief, work, and moving, while still finding time to slow down, talk, and enjoy life together.

One afternoon, we sat down to search for a getaway and stumbled across Villa Poggio di Gaville. It was love at first sight and after four wonderful days here, we can confidently say our instincts were right.

It wasn’t just the charming villa, the lovingly maintained garden, or the fantastic food that made our stay so relaxing, but also the warmth of Samira and the entire team, who create an atmosphere where you can’t help but feel at home. We’ll definitely be back for a weekend getaway in Gaville, to escape busy Bologna City life or just to enjoy some relaxing time together ❤️

Our special guest Samantha turned 30 with us organizing a Spritz tour at our agriturismo!🍹
She invited all her friends from Innsbruck, Munich, Bolzen, and her family that came all the way from Paraguay!🇩🇪🇵🇾

She organized a party with a different Mood every single night entertaining her friends with live music, Dj set or simply enjoying intimiate chats or chillin’ by the pool.💦

The real key of happiness is really the sharing of happiness itself.🫶
