Villa La Petraia

Villa La Petraia Villa La Petraia is an ancient villa in the historic centre of Panzano, in the heart of the Chianti hills. Your home away from home!

With its 5 rooms, spacious garden on two levels and the swimming pool with a breathtaking view, it's a magical place to live beautiful experiences. Villa La Petraia is an ancient villa in the historic centre of Panzano-in-Chianti. In medieval times, it was the first and only restaurant on the ancient route that connected Florence to Siena, the notorious “Strada maestra del Chianti”. The large two-

level garden features a swimming pool with a breathtaking view of olive groves and vineyards of the Chianti area. The terrace, with its wood-burning oven and chef’s barbecue, is the perfect place, it offers a pleasant atmosphere for breakfast, to enjoy lunch or a romantic dinner. The architectural style of the villa has been carefully preserved and each of the five spacious rooms lovingly furnished. Antique accents blend seamlessly into the modern design, creating a luxurious and inviting atmosphere. The main entrance of the villa faces one of Panzano’s main streets, which runs right through the village, while the rear of the villa opens out to a wonderful panoramic position on the beautiful Tuscan hills. You are, therefore, in the unique position of being both in the heart of the quintessential Chianti countryside, yet just a few minutes’ walk from the main square, ‘Piazza Campana’. There, in the shade of the trees, next to the fountain, you can sip a cappuccino or savour a homemade gelato, as you marvel how time seems to stand still in places such as these. A stone’s throw away, a number of excellent restaurants offer delicious Tuscan specialties for lunch or dinner while the nearby local shops carry any groceries or supplies you might need. In the evening, the well-stocked wine bars open their doors and invite you in to taste some of the many superb local wines.

A long table beneath the Tuscan sky. ✨

The last light of the day, wine being poured, conversations drifting through the evening air.

With Francesco guiding the tasting, each wine became part of the story, shared around a table surrounded by rolling hills and golden light.

Simple moments, shared together, becoming memories almost without noticing. 🤍

The final moments of today’s cooking class with Chef Connie ✨

After preparing bruschette and fresh pasta together, our guests gathered around the table for the last step of the afternoon: assembling their crostatine.

A simple ritual, plenty of smiles, and another beautiful day shared in Tuscany. 🤍

Some evenings are not just dinners.
They become stories you remember long after the last glass. 🍷✨

A table surrounded by the silence of the Chianti hills, candles dancing in the background, and wines with something real to say.

Last night at Villa La Petraia felt exactly like that.
One wine at a time, one story at a time.

Because wine is never only about what’s in the glass.
It’s about people, atmosphere, emotions and the memories you bring home with you. 🤍
