Piedmont, the land where I was born and where my father’s family comes from, is a beautiful region. The Langhe is a magnificent area waiting to be discovered. It is a land of great wines, of the prized IGP hazelnut variety typical of the Langa hills and used in pastries, and of the prized truffle.
Small medieval villages dot the rolling hills, famous worldwide for their terraced vineyards. They take on magnificent colors in the fall and are equally enchanting when shrouded in winter fog.
